okay, my first day at work. two words: tres tiring. i guess that explains it all. (: i found out i will get my pay only after 3 weeks, which is not bad already. initially, i thought they will pay us on a monthly basis. so except for some minor screwups, like serving the dish to the wrong table (but thankfully i asked before placing it on the table!) and placing too many chopsticks on each table (but this was also not my fault. the manager asked me to put 4 pairs and the captain asked me to put 2 pairs.), i survived my first day of work. (: by the way, i want a beautiful garden-themed wedding. i haven't thought about details yet though. haha just a random thought. attended auntie joi (she's korean! how cool is that? haha.) and uncle chee keong's wedding at botanic gardens. the ambience is just so perfect for a wedding.
