yf retreat was good. (: a nice break from my jam-packed life. and it was great to be with the church people, as usual. i was hoping for this retreat to enlighten me and prevent me from further backsliding. i'm happy to say that it helped. (: the questions posed to me at different times in retreat really made me think and reflect on my spiritual life for the past year. what is driving me in my life now? am i happy? questions that literally jump out at me, straight in my face. i don't know what is driving me in my life now, but it's definitely not God. which is sad, and something that needs to be changed immediately. no, i am not happy so why am i not? my workshop group won best group! i'm so so happy! (: my first time being a group leader (with graham) and i must say it was a very enriching experience. i learnt things in a new perspective and i had more responsibilities. made new friends and strengthened old friendships. (: you know, the friends there are the ones who make retreat a fun experience and much more enjoyable. (: retreat also helped me think my mind off things that has been troubling me recently and i really thank God for that. now, that i'm back home, everything starts rushing back and i'm so afraid that i will lose my momentum. :( but i'm starting to see God in a new light and that really encourages me a lot.

i will get over you. there were definitely times when i missed you. a whole lot. but i feel so much more confident that things will work out. (: i feel very encouraged and know that God is helping me day by day.
