what an enjoyable stretch of national day holiday! (: tuesday to thursday of non stop activities and socialising/fellowship. haha but it's time to end, seriously. i got a rude shock when i looked at my organiser and realised that the next week in school is going to be my last before the study week. the horror. and i have not started studying at all. yikes. i keep wanting to have more fun and i'm totally clueless in criminal procedure and contract. :( this is bad. but anyway, updates! ((: went to watch the lake house on tuesday with maine and theodore! the movie was heartwarmingly sweet but i didnt cry! surprisingly! hahaha it wasnt so much of a crying movie but more of thought provoking? haha me and maine were like confused at the end of the show and had to ask theodore to explain. it's quite unbelievable actually but it's still nice. (: had gelare waffles before the show! super duper good because it was half priced waffles day! hahaha me and maine are always pigging out and on the search for yummy desserts! but of course, being the usual silly girls, we ordered large waffles and theodore ended up having to finish a small portion for us! heh. after that, we took a bus down to krist's place for her national day bbq! haha her way of showing singapore that she's patriotic! hahaha the walk there was fun! i felt so loved! i received two really small white flowers from maine and theodore! awwww. and nicklaus gave me redoxon later because i had flu the day before. so nice! hahaha thanks you three, you all really made my day! (: the dinner at krist's house was good! loved the pasta! (: had a great bonding session with everyone there as well! army jokes and all! but i was so tired by the time i reached home! i dont like 9am classes. haha. wednesday! national day! ((: did some homework in the afternoon before heading to regent hotel with my mum, sarah and tracy for dinner. the food was delicious and the place was so pretty! reminded us of the oriental hotel. the food was good too! i tried this dessert called banana foster which was fried bananas mixed in butter, syrup and rum! hahaha it was so good! oh and i ate so many prawns that day! went to meet krist and maine at macs after that! they bought me a pretty pink butterfly pen! ((: i love those two girls! i will never get sick of seeing them everyday! (: had a short time of catching up, since we rarely get the chance to do that in church cause krist leaves so early all the time. haha but i had fun ((: after your A levels okay, krist! you can join me and maine on our hunt for good food! haha. today! haha no holiday for me. :( but i was still able to meet up with maine, chris and nicklaus today! we had lunch at new york, new york! a nice place with pretty decor! (: ordered this pasta dish with fish and mushrooms! super duper filling! haha and nicklaus paid! haha thanks! (: ooh and i bought nicklaus a flower! so glad i cheered him up! then i rushed back to school for my french speaking test. i'm so glad it went quite okay. praise God! now, i'm left with contract project and lcomm assessment. i woke up late today so i couldn't make it to school in time for mr ferlin's consultation. damn. another reason why i wish i kick the habit of waking up late. now, i'm so afraid i have a lot of loopholes in my contract, which makes me very vulnerable to a D grade. rahhh no more Cs or Ds! :( okay, back to work. |
