i'm back in sunny singapore, enduring the sudden change in temperature (from 9degrees to 31degrees!) and enjoying all the chinese food i have missed out on.

but i really do miss uk. although i only spent 10 days there, it seems as if i have been there for a long time. being in uk without my family made me a little more independent. finding oxford street on the map, deciding how to get from one tube station to another, walking to the nearest provision store etc. i was surprised that i was able to manage all that by myself and of course, with help from my friends. (: that feeling was wonderful and it made me realise that it might actually be possible for me to survive in a foreign country. (: i also forged stronger friendship bonds and got to know people a little bit better, thanks to late night chats, instant noodle parties and fashion parades! (:

the photos i have taken really do injustice to the places i visited, considering that i'm such a lousy photographer. so i shall wait for the professionals (clare, deb, amanda and serena) to send me their photos and shall do a short photo post and a longer entry on my trip soon, i promise.
