december, my favourite month! i have been crazily busy since internship ended. the first two weeks of december were spent doing my sip report and university applications. this is what happens when you decide to procrastinate and slack for 3 months. managed to complete my ucas application, sit for my lnat test and rush like a madwoman to finish my sip report. stayed back until 11pm on thursday, but it was worth it. pizza and random songs from enchanted with wei loong and amanda never fail to make me happy. :) flew off to korea the next day! korea is such a lovely place! :) the food is so healthy and delicious and the air is so clean and fresh! for the first time ever, i sat roller coasters with 360 degrees revolutions! haha the theme parks there were super fun! and i got to see the film locations of the korean dramas! the best part was, i got to go skiing! the photos will be uploaded soon on multiply. :) we went on tour so didn't really get the chance to go shopping. but it was a very good trip nonetheless. went to shanghai after that. didn't really have a good experience there. the only good part was when we met up with my mum's friend and she treated us to dinner! the food was super good! but i thank God for keeping all of us safe! :) had a whole lot of activities planned when i returned to singapore! did christmas shopping with sarah when we returned home the next day. all the sales were so tempting! :( i finally got reaffirmed on sunday! :) and to be reaffirmed in front of my mum, my yd, church members and God really made me feel so blessed to be a child of God! had carolling after that. it was so wonderful that we had the opportunity to sing carols to the aged and the kids this year. baked brownies on christmas eve for the yfers and went for christmas service on christmas morning! someone wrote in my christmas card, that every day should be christmas, in that we should not only remember Christ's birth on christmas day but we should remember it every day! it is because of Jesus Christ that we are saved from our sins! :) i didn't have a birthday party this year but i still had presents and mini celebrations! a huge thank you to everyone who gave me something and celebrated my birthday with me! i thank God for bringing each and every one of you into my life and for blessing our friendships! :) i finally turned nineteen, what a year. and as 2007 comes to a close, i thank the Lord for always being my Provider, my Shelter and the Giver of all good things. :) |
