after blogging the previous entry, i prayed so hard for God to help me find a good church to worship and serve in, to provide me with a hall to stay in when i arrive and to help me meet friendly and more importantly, godly people. i didn't expect God to answer my prayer so fast, but He did! over the weekend, i found two people who will be joining me! the first person is amanda's good friend, sarah! she will be doing the same degree course as me at the same uni! what a blessing! :) now i have someone to go to classes with! but that is if we have the same lecture slots, which i hope we do! the second person is rach ng! God really works in amazing ways. was talking to her at the bus stop about my plans for this year and of course, new zealand came into the picture. before i knew it, she told me she was going to the same uni for her exchange programme this june and for six months! i can't describe how thankful and happy i was that night. something to look forward to, besides returning home in november! :) God really answers prayers! another thing i am thankful for is that i will have my sister with me. that is really the biggest blessing of all. :) at least we have each other and i have someone to talk to every night, to listen to me, to eat with, to cry with...basically to do everything with. :) |
